The hotel offers a budget experience with front-facing rooms on the top floor, accommodating only 27 cars despite being labeled as 'superior. '

Rooms

My stay in the front-facing room on the top floor was cozy for a budget experience. The room could only fit 27 cars despite its 'superior' classification.
Service
9.0
The service was excellent; with room service available, efficient dry cleaning, attentive housekeeping, and quick laundry service. The welcome drink was a nice touch.
Location
6.0
Being situated in the town center with convenient parking close by was convenient. However, due to its location on the 3 am walk home route, the noise level was high even out of student season.

I enjoyed a delightful breakfast in Carmarthen, cooked to order by the friendly staff, particularly Aggie, who provided excellent service.

The hotel is centrally located, making it convenient for exploring the town. The rooms were a bit small but well-kept, although the view was lacking. The bustling high street could be noisy at times, but the dining experience was top-notch. Overall, a decent stay with friendly service.

The room was clean and fresh, albeit a bit small with a view of a brick wall.

7.8/10

I felt like I was being constantly disturbed as if someone was trying to get into my room all night. On top of that, our door wouldn't unlock, and we had to disturb the night porter at midnight to open it for us. However, the rooms themselves were a good size and clean, though chilly due to ineffective night storage heaters.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms were a good size and clean despite feeling like someone was trying to get in all night and the heating not working properly.
Service
8.0
The service, including room service and housekeeping, was attentive and satisfactory.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location was very central and convenient, sitting right in the town centre, offering easy access to local bars and a Chinese restaurant opposite.
Dining
7.0
The dining experience was a mix; faultless on the first day but a letdown on the second morning. Yet, the food was well-prepared overall, albeit inconsistent.
Facilities
The facilities were decent, with some room for improvement.
